Job summary

Pellera Technologies is seeking a Senior Consultant or Principal Consultant to lead Microsoft Modern Work solutions for mergers, acquisitions, and tenant migrations. You will guide discovery, architecture, and execution across identity, messaging, collaboration, and endpoints.

You will mentor teams, coordinate with security and infrastructure, and deliver hands-on migrations with a focus on minimizing disruption and preserving data integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 8+ years in Microsoft Modern Work consulting, Microsoft 365 engineering, or enterprise migrations.
• Delivery of Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migrations for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, or consolidation.
• Microsoft certifications in 365 administration, identity and access, endpoint management, or collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead client discovery, workshops, and readiness assessments for Modern Work requirements and migration scope.
• Develop migration strategies, workload sequencing, cutover runbooks, and rollback plans with clear criteria.
• Create target-state architecture diagrams for tenant consolidation/separation and identity integration.
• Lead hands-on migrations of mailboxes, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams content with engineers and vendors.
• Configure Microsoft 365 services and coordinate identity transitions (Entra ID, directory sync, app access).
• Design and implement endpoint solutions with Microsoft Intune (Autopilot, device enrollment, policies).
• Plan device enrollment and management transitions for M&A integration with minimal user disruption.
• Execute pilots, testing, cutover validation, and post-migration stabilization with operational handoff.
• Collaborate with project managers to define workstreams, milestones, and cutover schedules; ensure service desk readiness and adoption.
• Identify and manage technical risks, dependencies, licensing, access, data retention, and SLA deadlines.
• Mentor consultants and communicate decisions to technical and executive stakeholders.
• Develop reusable migration playbooks, automation, and delivery templates.
