Job summary
ParallelStaff is seeking a data engineering contractor to work on Microsoft Fabric pipelines in a fully remote role for the US market. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Fabric, Lakehouse architecture, and notebook-based data processing.
This 6-month contract offers overlap with US Central time, strong English, a performance-based sign-in bonus, and 100% remote work. The contractor should design flexible, parameterized pipelines, handle schema drift, and implement basic data
Qualifications
- 6 Month contract with very solid extension options
- Must have overlap with the US Central time zone
- Very good spoken and written English language skills
- Hands-on Fabric project experience (not just Azure Synapse)
- Experience designing Landing - Bronze - Silver - Gold data models
Responsibilities
- Build Fabric Pipelines (new generation of data movement tools)
- Ingest data with Bronze-Silver-Gold layers
- Implement simple Fabric Notebooks for validation
- Set up basic data quality checks and logging
