Job summary

A leading electrical services provider is seeking a Microgrid Mechanical Technician to perform maintenance on power generation equipment. The successful candidate will coordinate with Area Managers to ensure the operational efficiency of generators. Ideal applicants will have experience with Volvo Penta Diesel Engines, diagnostic skills, and a mechanical or electrical background. This position is remote in the Midland/Odessa area, offering various benefits including medical, dental, and a hybrid work schedule.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of Mechanical and/or Electrical experience.
• Attention to detail and integrity in work.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled repairs of diesel engines and generators.
• Conduct preventive maintenance tasks for generators.
• Ensure safe operation of electrical equipment.

Skills

Volvo Penta Diesel Engine experience

Diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

Education

College or Equivalent Training (i.e. Military)
