Job summary

AP&T is seeking a Metering Program Lead to oversee metering work across systems, with field duties and up to 30% travel. Remote-friendly but candidates must reside in Alaska, Washington, or Idaho.

Responsibilities include ordering, configuring, and programming meters, supporting Billing, and standardizing metering practices nationwide within AP&T. The role requires 5+ years in electric metering, CT/PT experience, and knowledge of NESC/NEC.

Qualifications

• Five+ years hands-on electric metering experience, including installation, configuration, programming, and testing CT/PT metering.
• Ability to interpret metering standards, NESC, and NEC requirements.
• Proven ability to manage meters, CTs, PTs and related equipment across projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement, configuration, and programming of meters and metering equipment.
• Develop and maintain metering standards, forms, settings, and documentation.
• Oversee meter auditing, AMI deployments, and regulatory documentation.
• Validate meter data with Billing and investigate discrepancies.
• Coordinate with engineering, operations, MIS, vendors, and contractors.
