Alaska Power & Telephone is seeking a full-time Metering Program Lead to own metering work across our systems, with field travel up to 30% and remote eligibility for Alaska or the Pacific Northwest. You will oversee ordering, configuration, programming, and standardization of metering practices, supporting billing and AMI deployments.

Lead meter audits, develop standards, and coordinate with engineering, operations, MIS, vendors, and contractors while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Competenze

• Five or more years of hands-on electric metering experience.
• Ability to interpret metering standards including NESC and NEC.
• Experience with CTs, PTs, and revenue metering accuracy.
• Ability to travel to remote sites up to 30% of workload.
• Pass pre-employment drug test and background check.

Mansioni

• Specify, procure, and manage meters, CTs, PTs, and related metering equipment.
• Configure and program meters and communication devices
• Develop and maintain metering standards including meter forms, settings, and documentation
• Oversee commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of metering systems
• Lead and document the meter audit program
• Support regulatory documentation requirements
• Support AMI deployments and retrofits
• Coordinate with Billing to validate meter data and resolve discrepancies
• Investigate revenue losses and ensure metering accuracy
• Lead metering upgrade projects and deployments
