Job summary

SupplyHouse.com is seeking an Associate Merchandise Planner to support merchandise financial planning, sales analysis, and category performance. This remote role opens to several states and requires occasional travel to Melville, NY for meetings.

The base salary ranges from $60,200 to $75,200 with a broader annual range up to $90,200. Responsibilities include creating financial plans, tracking performance, and presenting analyses to guide seasonal and long-term strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in Merchandise, Demand Planning, Replenishment, or Financial roles.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills; basic retail math and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage pre-season and in-season financial plans for a product group.
• Track financial performance vs planned sales, GM, and inventory; analyze data for risks and opportunities.
• Reconcile and present financial plans using top-down and bottom-up approaches; translate insights into recommendations.
• Participate in seasonal planning to maximize sales, in-stock, and inventory flow.
• Collaborate with Category Managers on pre-season strategies aligned to financial objectives.
• Prepare and present product and financial analyses for weekly and monthly planning meetings.
