Job summary

CP Engineers seeks a Project Manager to lead MEP engineering projects for industrial and manufacturing clients from concept through construction. You will oversee multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure quality, compliance, and client satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have strong PM experience in building systems, excellent leadership and communication, and a track record in business development. Certifications such as PMP/LEED/Six Sigma are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field is required or equivalent experience.
• 5–8 years of relevant project management experience in MEP for industrial/manufacturing.
• Strong client relationship management and leadership.
• Knowledge of GMP, OSHA, and NFPA is preferred.
• Experience with budgets, schedules, and contract compliance.
• Willingness to lead multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage MEP engineering projects for industrial and manufacturing clients from concept through construction.
• Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, and schedules aligned with client expectations.
• Oversee project staffing, scope changes, contract compliance, profitability, invoicing, and receivables.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal teams.
• Conduct regular project status meetings and foster strong client relationships to identify opportunities for additional work.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, fire protection).
• Oversee design reports, drawings, specs, permits, and bids; review deliverables for contractual obligations.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and client requirements.
• Monitor project profitability and manage risks and changes.
