Zencare Behavioral Health in Morristown, New Jersey, seeks a Licensed Mental Health Counselor for a full-time remote role. You will assess clients, plan individualized treatment, and deliver therapy through virtual sessions.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree, current NJ licensure (LPC/LCSW/LMFT), and passing NCE/NCMHCE, with prior counseling experience. AVATAR EHR familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Current licensure as LPC/LCSW/LMFT in New Jersey.
• Passing score on NCE or NCMHCE.
• Previous experience in mental health counseling is essential.
• Familiarity with AVATAR EHR is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations and document findings.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and provide evidence-based therapy.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions via telehealth.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed; document changes.
• Collaborate with physicians, social workers, and other professionals.
• Communicate with psychiatrists regarding medications and follow-ups.
• Identify crises and apply crisis management techniques.
• Educate and involve family members and caregivers.
