Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Active licensure as LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT in Maryland.
• Two or more years of direct counseling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to understand client concerns, history, and goals.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans using evidence-based therapies.
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions using modalities suited to client needs (e.g., CBT, mindfulness).
• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support for distressed clients.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and social workers to ensure holistic care.
• Maintain confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through training and supervision.
• Contribute ideas for program improvement and service development.
