Job summary

SCAN Health Plan is seeking a motivated Member Service Rep to serve members remotely across the United States. You will answer questions about benefits, eligibility, referrals, and claims, delivering compassionate, accurate support.

Ideal candidates have 1-2 years in a call center or customer service role, familiarity with Medicare Advantage plans, strong data entry and communication skills, and the ability to manage high call volumes with professionalism.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years call center or related customer service experience, required.
• 1-2 years of prior experience with Medicare benefits, including Medicare Advantage Plans preferred.
• Data entry and general computer skills (word processing, e-mail) required.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality customer service by applying SCAN Five Service Principles.
• Educates members regarding benefits and plan options via in person, email or telephonically.
• Responds to member inquiries concerning benefits, eligibility, referrals and claims.
• Escalates issues to management or other departments as needed.
• Documents transactions in the system and summarizes actions taken.
