Job summary

BCD Meetings & Events is seeking a Meeting Planner- Temporary. You will own end-to-end planning for complex meetings and events—from concept to final reconciliation—delivering a high-touch experience clients remember.

This role is virtual and requires 25%–50% travel. You’ll manage sourcing, contracting, attendee management, onsite execution and budget oversight while guiding cross-functional teams to successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of event planning experience across sourcing, planning, attendee management, and onsite delivery.
• Track record of proactive, creative ideas that elevate the attendee experience and exceed client expectations.
• Experience leading complex programs with multiple stakeholders, changing deadlines, and tight budget parameters.
• Strong familiarity with meeting technology tools, data accuracy standards, and program reporting.
• Familiarity with group air and coordinating VIP or special attendee needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning across sourcing, contracting, attendee management, onsite execution, and budget oversight.
• Deliver a polished, high-touch client experience with strong communication and guidance.
• Coordinate timelines, attendee logistics, room blocks, reporting and supplier coordination.
• Solve problems on the fly, stay calm under pressure, and lead cross-functional teams to successful outcomes.
