Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED equivalent.
• 3+ years in a comparable external setting or 2+ years as a pharmacy technician at The University of Kansas Health System.
• Pharmacy Technician Registration - KS/MO and/or Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB). Continuous certification maintenance required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates pharmacy activities within defined areas, including compliance, automation, and equipment maintenance.
• Leads training for staff, residents, students, and OJT participants.
• Uses lean principles to identify improvement opportunities and implements changes via plan–do–check–act.
• Ensures effective use of pharmacy personnel resources and cross-coverage as needed.
• Delivers excellent communication with patients and internal stakeholders and supports leadership goals.
