Job summary

Palmetto GBA, LLC is seeking a dedicated educator to provide Medicare education to medical providers. This full-time remote role requires residency in Alabama, Georgia, or Tennessee and a schedule from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with travel up to 3–5 days per week.

You will develop and deliver workshops, educate on coverage and documentation, and maintain provider communications. Licensure (LPN/LVN/RN) and 5–7 years of clinical/educator experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires licensure in nursing (LPN/LVN/RN)
• 7 years clinical experience for LPN/LVN, 5 years for RN
• Strong medical terminology and documentation skills
• Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheets

Responsibilities

• Educates providers on Medicare coverage and documentation
• Documents provider contacts in tracking system
• Leads education visits or calls for providers with high utilization
• Conducts workshops for provider staff on regulatory requirements
• Prepares regulatory education materials
• Analyzes reports to determine actions for medical review outcomes
• Identifies over-utilization and informs medical review processes
• Trains medical review staff on coverage and medical review procedures
• Partners with medical review to address billing practices
