Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, medical coding, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of Medicare Coverage Analysis experience in AMC or hospital systems.
• Experience with oncology protocol coverage analyses preferred.
• Strong CMS and Medicare billing compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Medicare Coverage Analyses for oncology and non-oncology trials to classify billable services.
• Review protocols, schedules, and consent forms to ensure CMS billing compliance.
• Create and maintain OnCore calendar builds for visits, procedures, and milestones.
• Collaborate with Clinical Operations, Finance, Regulatory, and Study Teams on coverage decisions.
• Prepare coverage analysis docs, summaries, and billing justification reports.
• Serve as SME for Medicare coverage rules and advise study teams on risks and actions.
• Support audits with well-documented coverage decisions meeting sponsor requirements.
• Stay updated on CMS changes and best practices to optimize study operations.
