Job summary

Vitalief Inc. seeks a Clinical Trials Medicare Coverage Analyst to work remotely supporting a leading academic medical center. The role requires Medicare coverage expertise, Oncology protocol experience, and strong CMS knowledge.

You will develop and maintain OnCore calendars, review protocols for billing compliance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on coverage decisions. This is a fully remote, full-time position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a healthcare/finance related field.
• Minimum 3 years of Medicare Coverage Analysis experience in academic medical center or health system.
• Experience with oncology protocols and CMS guidelines is highly preferred.
• Experience developing/maintaining OnCore calendar builds for trials preferred or willing to train.
• Strong written and verbal communication, with ability to explain complex billing concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Medicare Coverage Analyses for oncology and non-oncology protocols identifying billable vs research-related services.
• Review trial protocols and schedules to ensure CMS billing compliance.
• Develop and validate OnCore calendar builds for visits, procedures, and milestones.
• Collaborate with Clinical Operations, Finance, Regulatory, and Study Teams for guidance on coverage decisions.
• Prepare coverage analysis documentation and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Act as SME for Medicare coverage rules and advise study teams on billing risks.
• Support audits ensuring compliance with federal and sponsor requirements.
