Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Medicare Billing Supervisor to lead the Medicare billing operations remotely from Kentucky or Indiana. The role requires on-floor supervision, audits, training and coaching to improve attendance and productivity while handling calls and emails in the manager's absence.

Candidates need an associates degree or 5 years in patient accounting with 2 years as a supervisor, plus Medicare billing experience, Medicare compliance knowledge, UB92, revenue codes, CPT/HCPC coding.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or 5 years experience in a patient accounting office or medical office setting with 2 year as a team lead/supervisor experience in lieu of degree.
• One-year experience in hospital Medicare billing required.
• Experience with Medicare compliance, LMRP’s and APC knowledge required
• Understanding of UB92, revenue codes, CPT and HCPC coding required

Responsibilities

• Maintains supervision and leadership on the floor within the department.
• Assists with performing employee audits, training and counseling employees on attendance and productivity goals.
• Handles phone calls, emails and attends meetings in the absence of department manager.
• May work more than 40 hours a week to assist manager with special projects.
