Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support a Medicare Supplement claims team in a fully remote role. You will assist healthcare providers with payments, review EOBs, verify coverage, and manage a high volume of calls in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience in healthcare or life insurance.
• Ability to read and interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOB) documents.
• Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Teams.
• Comfortable handling a high volume of calls remotely.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for providers on claim payments and reimbursement inquiries.
• Handle a high volume of inbound calls, averaging 60-80 calls per day.
• Research claim status, payment history, and reimbursement issues.
• Review and explain Explanation of Benefits (EOB) information to providers.
• Verify coverage and payment details related to Medicare Supplement plans.
• Communicate professionally with providers to resolve concerns and answer questions.
• Document inquiries and resolutions accurately within company systems.
• Collaborate with internal teams to investigate and resolve claim discrepancies.
• Respond promptly to Microsoft Teams messages and maintain effective communication in a remote work environment.
• Meet established service, quality, and productivity expectations.
• Maintain confidentiality of member and provider information.
