Job summary

BCBSRI is seeking a customer service professional to support Medicare members, addressing inquiries and educating on benefits and eligibility. The role includes retention activities and collaboration with partners to ensure compliant, high-quality service.

The position requires 2–4 years in customer service, Medicare certification, and strong communication skills. Flexible work arrangements exist, including remote, hybrid, or on-site options.

Qualifications

• Two to four years’ customer service experience.
• Must pass Customer Service Assessments.
• Must successfully pass Medicare Certification.
• Health Producers License.

Responsibilities

• Respond to Medicare members written or telephonic inquiries.
• Educate members on products, benefits and eligibility.
• Participate in Medicare Retention events and member education sessions.
• Proactively build and maintain positive relationships with members and external partners.
• Ensure compliance in all activities with internal policies and regulatory agencies.
