Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Board certification in Internal Medicine, or Internal Medicine with a Hospital Medicine-focused practice designation.
• Inpatient hospitalist experience within the past two years.
• Strong understanding of inpatient documentation and hospital workflows, including admissions, daily progress notes, transitions of care, and discharge.
• Ability to review clinical notes and raw medical record data accurately.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow standardized guidelines consistently.

Responsibilities

• Review medical records, including FHIR data and clinical notes, for AI training and evaluation.
• Verify that clinical information and claims are supported by the documented medical record.
• Evaluate inpatient adult medicine documentation, including history of present illness, past medical history, medication reconciliation, social history, assessments, and treatment plans.
• Identify missing, inaccurate, or inconsistent information in clinical records.
• Assess medication-related details, including renal- and hepatic-adjusted dosing, potential drug interactions, and age-appropriate clinical considerations.
• Apply established review guidelines consistently and accurately.
• Provide structured feedback to improve AI models and clinical data quality.
