Job summary

Alexion, AstraZeneca Rare Disease seeks a Medical Science Liaison for the Southeast region, covering AL, GA, MS and LA. The role focuses on scientific engagement with Healthcare Practitioners, KOLs, and collaborators to support medical objectives and provide balanced, evidence-based information.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: Bachelor's Degree.
• Minimum experience: 2+ years of direct patient care experience; clinical experience in a relevant therapeutic area or prior MSL success.
• Preferred: MD, PharmD, or PhD in biological sciences.

Responsibilities

• HCP relationship management: profile, engage, and build relationships with key HCPs and centers of excellence.
• Gathers and disseminates HCP insights to inform medical strategy and engage stakeholders.
• Keeps current with scientific knowledge and supports scientific exchange with external stakeholders as needed.
• Ensures focused, balanced clinical information and develops expertise in applicable research outcomes.
