Job summary

Alexion is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to support the medical strategy for Rare Disease products across the lifecycle. This field-based expert will engage healthcare professionals and KOLs within a defined territory, delivering current scientific information and facilitating collaboration opportunities with Alexion, AstraZeneca Rare Disease.

The MSL will work closely with Medical Directors, USMA leadership, and cross-functional partners, maintaining relationships, evaluating centers

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and ability to engage diverse HCPs and KOLs.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with Medical Directors, USMA Leadership, and external stakeholders.
• Ability to plan, document, and present scientifically accurate information to support medical strategy.

Responsibilities

• HCP relationship management and engagement planning.
• Profile and identify HCPs, centers of excellence, and opportunities for collaboration.
• Provide scientists with current data and disease-state information relevant to Alexion products.
• Share insights to inform medical strategy and real-world evidence considerations.
• Travel within the territory 70% and maintain home-based office arrangements.
