Job summary

Ascendis Pharma is seeking a Medical Science Liaison to be the external scientific expert for Medical Affairs. The role focuses on educating healthcare providers about the endocrinology portfolio and TransCon technology, building KOL networks, and supporting strategy across regions.

The MSL will operate remotely, travel ~50-75% within geography, and report to the Director, Field Medical Team. A strong medical/communication background and passion for patients are essential for success.

Qualifications

• MD/PhD/PharmD or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5+ years of pharmaceutical experience as an MSL.
• Pediatric endocrinology or rare disease experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as field-based medical representation of Medical Affairs.
• Identify and engage key opinion leaders (KOLs) and organizations.
• Provide medical/scientific presentations to internal and external audiences.
• Document all activities in CRM and ensure compliance with policies.
• Collaborate with MOSLs to support regional deliverables and goals.
