Southeast Orthopedic Specialists, LLC is seeking an experienced Medical Office Scheduler to support our Pain Management and Spine Surgery teams. You will coordinate patient appointments, verify insurance, manage referrals, and be the primary contact for patients, providers, and referring offices in a fast-paced, remote environment.

The ideal candidate has medical scheduling experience, knowledge of HIPAA, and strong communication and multitasking skills to navigate complex care pathways while

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of medical office scheduling experience required.
• Pain Management or Spine Surgery experience preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, insurance plans, and referral/authorization processes.
• Strong communication, customer service, and computer skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Mansioni

• Schedule new patient consultations, procedures, and follow-up appointments for Pain Management and Spine Surgery providers.
• Collect, verify, and update patient demographic and insurance information.
• Verify insurance eligibility and obtain prior authorizations when required.
• Process and track referrals from internal and external providers.
• Manage incoming calls, patient inquiries, and voicemail messages professionally and efficiently.
• Communicate with physicians, clinical staff, and referring offices regarding scheduling needs and documentation.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in HIPAA-compliant manner.
• Ensure a high level of customer service while supporting patients through complex care pathways.
