Job summary

Humana is seeking a Medical Records Representative to retrieve and manage medical records for reviews and audits. You will engage provider offices by phone and email, ensure accurate documentation, and protect patient information according to HIPAA standards.

This remote role requires travel up to 50% within the state, with occasional overnight trips. Normal hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm MST, and a valid driver's license may be needed for some travel.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer service experience.
• 1+ year of medical records experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Teams and Outlook for coordination.

Responsibilities

• Collect, validate, and reconcile medical records with required signatures.
• Upload documents to centralized repository with data integrity.
