Humana is seeking a Medical Records Representative (Risk Adjustment) to retrieve medical records from provider offices for reviews and audits. This remote role requires high-volume outreach by phone and email and adherence to HIPAA and PHI protections.

Based in Idaho (Boise/Meridian preferred) with up to 50% statewide travel, the role offers 40-hour weekly schedules and pay range $43,000–$56,200 annually, depending on location and experience.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• 1+ years of experience with medical records.
• Experience using Microsoft 365 daily (Teams, Outlook).
• Experience in health care environment/managed care.

Responsabilités

• Accurately collect, validate, and reconcile medical records, including getting required provider signatures.
• Upload verified documentation to the Cotiviti repository with data integrity.
• Follow HIPAA and internal policies when retrieving, handling, and storing PHI.
• Apply procedures to complete assignments accurately and efficiently with minimal rework.
• Use Humana devices to securely retrieve and manage medical records.
• Engage physician offices via high-volume phone and email outreach to obtain records and meet deadlines.
• Maintain confidentiality and safeguard PHI at all times.
• Manage a high-volume workload independently while meeting productivity, quality, and service levels.
