Job summary

Humana is seeking a Medical Records Representative to retrieve, validate, and reconcile medical records for risk adjustment reviews. You will securely handle PHI, ensure complete documentation, and interact with provider offices to meet deadlines.

The role requires at least 1 year in customer service and medical records, with experience using Microsoft 365 apps. Remote work is possible with statewide travel and Boise/Meridian residency in Idaho preferred.

Qualifications

1+ years of customer service experience.
1+ years of experience with medical records.
1+ years of using Microsoft 365 apps (Teams/Outlook).
Experience working independently and meeting deadlines.
Ability to manage high-volume workloads with attention to quality.

Responsibilities

Accurately collect, validate, and reconcile medical records.
Upload verified documentation to Humana’s repository with data integrity.
Comply with HIPAA and internal policies in all records handling.
Follow departmental procedures to complete assignments accurately and efficiently.
Engage physician offices via phone and email to obtain records and meet deadlines.
Maintain strict confidentiality of PHI at all times.
Manage workload effectively while meeting productivity and service-level expectations.
