Qualifications

• 2+ years in medical records management or health records exposure.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Must have a dedicated home office and secure internet access.
• U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain filing systems, classification schemes, checklists, and schedules.
• Verify accuracy of patient records and conduct audits.
• Safeguard PHI and ensure HIPAA compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Create summaries, exhibits, or reports of progress and results.
• Assist with notetaking and update documentation.
• Collect patient demographic data and data for research.
• Produce reports on medical records management activities.
• Respond to inquiries with timely information to authorized personnel.
