Job summary

University Health Partners of Hawai'i seeks a part-time Medical Receptionist/Medical Assistant Receptionist to perform administrative and back-office tasks. The role requires residing in Hawaii and offers 100% remote work with weekend coverage (Saturday and Sunday 8am–4pm) and possible holiday rotation.

Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma, medical assisting/office experience, and HIPAA awareness.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Medical assisting/office experience.
• Preferred: Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree; Three years medical assisting/office; One year with mental health/substance use disorder clients; EPIC EMR experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative duties including reception duties, scheduling appointments and other clerical tasks as assigned.
• Provide back office clinical support as Medical Assistant Receptionist.
• Cover Saturday and Sunday 8am–4pm, with extended hours as required.
• This is a 100% remote, Hawaii-resident position with Hawaii tax residency.
