Job summary

The Ladders client is seeking a Program Manager - Medical to join a leading Pharmaceuticals & Biotech team in a remote US-based role.

You will oversee medical program implementations, lead field-based teams, ensure compliance, and partner with internal and external stakeholders to meet strategic objectives in a fast-paced environment.

The position offers a competitive compensation range of $110,000 to $130,000 annually, with bonus potential and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and medical credential required; terminal degree or MSN/NP preferred.
• 3–5 years in pharmaceuticals or healthcare with drug development knowledge.
• Experience managing Medical Science Liaisons or similar roles in medical affairs.
• Proven people leadership and performance management skills.
• Ability to communicate complex scientific information effectively.
• Knowledge of compliance and industry codes for field-based medical teams.
• Strong client focus and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead client strategy implementation and KPI delivery.
• Develop and coach high-performing field medical teams.
• Ensure scientific and compliance knowledge for peer engagement.
• Build and maintain trusted client relationships; lead business reviews.
• Translate program requirements into objectives and operational plans.
