• 6–12 months of prior authorization or healthcare BPO experience in US accounts.
• Familiarity with insurance portals, EMR/EHR systems, and medical terminology.
• HIPAA certification is a plus; strong time management and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Submitting, tracking, and following up on prior authorization requests.
• Managing calls with insurance companies to verify requirements and status.
• Verifying patient coverage, benefits, and plan specifics before procedures.
• Retrieving medical history, notes, and diagnostic reports as needed.
• Serving as primary contact between providers, patients, and payors.
• Identifying reasons for denials and gathering information for appeals.
• Providing back-office support: data entry, email management, logs, and records.
• Adhering strictly to HIPAA and maintaining patient data confidentiality.
