SCAN Health Insurance is seeking a remote Medical Management Support Specialist to join our team. You will respond to provider calls, enter data into the CCMS, and help authorize SCAN services under clinical staff guidance, contributing to high-quality member care.

This role requires data entry proficiency, knowledge of medical terminology, and utilization management experience. You will collaborate with internal/external partners while protecting privacy and maintaining regulatory standards in

Qualifications

• 3+ years of medical experience in a managed care environment.
• Proficiency with data entry and medical terminology.
• ICD-9, CPT coding experience preferred.
• Excellent telephonic communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of Medicare and Medi-Cal guidelines preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to provider calls and faxes and enter data into CCMS.
• Authorize SCAN services under clinical staff direction.
• Support data entry for inpatient/outpatient claims per guidelines.
• Verify member data, eligibility, benefits, and network status.
• Maintain privacy and compliance with quality standards.
