Qualifikationen

• WA state bar license in good standing.
• 2–3 years civil litigation experience; medical malpractice/healthcare defense preferred.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work remotely and manage a caseload independently.
• Willingness to travel to Seattle for in-person proceedings as needed.

Aufgaben

• Independently manage and support a caseload of medical malpractice and healthcare-liability defense matters from intake through resolution.
• Draft and argue motions, conduct and defend depositions, and manage discovery, including review of complex medical records.
• Research and analysis of complex legal issues.
• Develop case strategy in partnership with partners and communicate directly with clients and insurance representatives.
• Prepare for and participate in mediations, arbitrations, hearings, trials.
• Represent healthcare professionals in licensing, credentialing, and Department of Health / professional board matters as needed.
• Stay current on developments in medical malpractice and healthcare liability law.
