Job summary

Expansion International is expanding its team of Medical Video Remote Interpreters to support healthcare providers and patients across the United States. The role is fully remote and requires strong bilingual fluency in English and True Rohingya.

Training is provided, and prior formal interpreting experience is a plus but not required. You will interpret medical information accurately via video and occasional phone sessions, upholding confidentiality and professional ethics in high-pressure

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and True Rohingya.
• Ability to interpret medical information accurately in both languages.
• Willingness to complete a medical interpreting proficiency assessment.
• Pass background and drug screening as part of the process.
• Must have a dedicated home workspace with secure setup for confidential sessions.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate video interpreting between English and True Rohingya, with some phone sessions.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow professional interpreter ethics.
• Follow standards of practice and company procedures.
• Adapt to evolving technology and workflows; participate in training and quality activities.
