TRC Talent Solutions is seeking a Medical Insurance Follow-Up Representative in Atlanta, GA, with 1–2 years in healthcare revenue cycle. The role supports insurance follow-up, denial resolution, and aged account remediation for hospital and physician billing accounts.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of healthcare revenue cycle experience required.
• Experience with hospital billing and/or physician billing accounts required.
• Strong knowledge of insurance denials, follow-up, and standard claim forms (UB-04 and/or HCFA 1500).
• Familiarity with EMR and billing software such as Epic, Cerner, Meditech, McKesson, Allscripts, or Soarian.

Responsibilities

• Perform second-tier insurance account follow-up on outstanding A/R balances.
• Resolve denied, underpaid, and unresolved insurance claims in compliance with payer guidelines.
• Research and resolve aged accounts and payer issues to prevent revenue loss.
• Work high-dollar accounts and conduct detailed account analysis using medical billing systems.
• Review UB-04 and/or HCFA 1500 claims for billing accuracy and compliance.
• Investigate eligibility discrepancies, coding issues, denials, and reimbursement variances.
• Communicate effectively with insurance payers, clients, and internal revenue cycle teams.
• Submit corrected claims, rebills, secondary billing, and appeals to ensure timely reimbursement.
