Job summary

Physician Pivot seeks an Associate Medical Director to provide clinical oversight and help define service criteria and standards of care for care management and service requests. This primarily remote role offers occasional on-site attendance; NC licensure or relocation preferred; weekend/holiday work may be required based on operations.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Medical School.
• MD/DO with approved psychiatry training (general/child/addiction).
• At least four years of postgraduate clinical medical experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with clinical oversight and service criteria development.
• Review medical necessity criteria and utilization management processes.
• Provide consultation and training to staff and partners.
• Supervise and develop Medical Management staff.
• Ensure compliance with licensure, regulatory, and accreditation requirements.
• Collaborate with physicians, psychologists, pharmacists, and other professionals.
