Job summary

Medical Review Institute of America in the United States seeks a Medical Director (Physician Advisor) to lead clinical utilization management, peer reviews, and quality management from a remote position.

The role requires five+ years of clinical care experience, five+ years in utilization management, and an unrestricted US medical license with ABMS/AOA board certification. Base salary is $240,000 per year with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years’ full-time equivalent experience providing direct clinical care to patients.
• Minimum of five years’ experience administering utilization management and peer review programs preferred.
• Credentialed and privileged by the Company's Credentialing Committee.
• Obtain additional state licensure as required for the position.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical utilization management and peer review activities.
• Oversee clinical quality management activities.
• Maintain up-to-date records of case completion and scheduling.
• Train across queues and complete client-specific training as requested by MRIoA leadership.
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure regulatory compliance and accreditation standards.
