The position focuses on contract negotiations, regulatory compliance, healthcare law, employment law, and privacy, with responsibility for training and policy development within CMSU and related entities.

Qualifications

• Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems.
• Excellent written document drafting and oral communication proficiency.
• Adept at handling complex contract negotiations.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate complex commercial contracts, including customer, business development, research, consulting, vendor and supplier agreements.
• Review and advise on materials in response to RFPs.
• Review marketing collateral for compliance with Truth in Advertising principles and regulatory requirements.
• Advise on approvals of commercial sponsorships and educational grants.
• Manage litigation and pre-litigation matters with outside counsel.
• Draft and review policies on healthcare compliance and FDA regulatory issues.
• Provide legal advice on healthcare compliance, employment law, and privacy.
• Create and conduct training on legal and compliance topics.
• Conduct legal research on issues affecting the company and subsidiaries.
