Job summary

Jobgether seeks a Medical Insurance Credentialing Specialist to oversee provider credentialing, enrollment, and claims management in a fully remote role.

You will ensure accurate provider records, payer compliance, and timely follow-ups across commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid networks. The ideal candidate has credentialing and billing experience, strong organization, and ability to collaborate with providers, payers, and internal teams while upholding HIPAA standards.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate combines hands-on medical credentialing and billing experience with strong understanding of payer processes and healthcare compliance.
• Experience with multiple payers and familiarity with credentialing databases and payer portals.
• Knowledge of CPT/ICD-10/HCPCS coding and enrollment procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit credentialing applications for providers across multiple payers.
• Manage provider re-credentialing to prevent lapses in network participation.
• Review and submit medical insurance claims using EHR and billing systems.
• Verify patient demographics, insurance eligibility, and coverage details before claims submission.
• Monitor claim status and coordinate adjustments for denials and rejections.
• Post payments and reconcile billing records; investigate discrepancies.
