Job summary

Gryphon Healthcare, a Houston-based revenue cycle management company serving healthcare providers nationwide, is seeking a Credentialing Specialist for a remote, full-time role.

The successful candidate will manage the credentialing process, verify qualifications, and ensure regulatory compliance while communicating with clients and internal teams. Daily monitoring of credentialing databases and timely follow-ups are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of credentialing experience.
• Experience with CredentialStream preferred.
• Knowledge of payer enrollment and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and submits provider applications to major payers for in network clients.
• Ensures timely processing of credentialing requests.
• Verifies primary sources information and ensures accuracy during onboarding.
• Follow-up on applications daily, weekly, and monthly until completion.
• Working Knowledge of CredentialStream to log and record provider information.
• Works closely with the AR team to resolve credentialing issues and denials.
• Monitors provider license, DEA and board certification expiration dates and sanctions.
• Assists with new client start-up and group credentialing.
• Communicates with clients about expired documents, payer status, discrepancies with verification findings, and new certifications.
• Performs provider onboarding with payers for client medical staff.
• Maintains client CAQH provider records
• Working knowledge of EFT/ERA enrollment for all payers.
