Qualifications

• Certified through either the AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P) is required.
• Minimum 6 months of on the job coding experience is required.
• Proficiency with EMR and billing systems; strong Excel and Outlook skills.

Responsibilities

• Work from home and be independent in coding skills.
• Provide various components of coding services to support clients.
• Calculate ProFee and/or Facility E/M levels using the company algorithm.
• Apply ICD-10-CM/ICD-10-PCS, CPT and HCPCS with high accuracy.
• Ensure coding aligns with documentation and privacy rules.
