Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Enter coded/abstracted information into 3M 360 Finder and review coding edits.
• Apply NCCI edits and medical necessity requirements; resolve claims edits.
• Assign E/M, ICD-10-CM, CPT, or chargemaster codes to clinic visits.
• Identify documentation gaps and refer complex issues to supervisor.
• Maintain knowledge of Rhode Island Hospital facility guidelines and age-specific rules.
• Rebill accounts and update patient financial records as required.
