Job summary

Qualifications

• 2 years HIM coding experience required.
• Must follow coding guidelines and payer policies.

Responsibilities

• Resolve Epic Coding and Optum Claims Manager edits.
• Review encounters and assign CPT/ICD-10CM/HCPCS codes.
• Generate basic physician queries and provide education as needed.
• Ensure compliance with UTHealth Coding Guidelines.
