Job summary

Largeton Group seeks an experienced medical coder with CPC certification and outpatient family practice coding background. You will apply E/M 2021 guidelines, audit codes, and generate Excel reports to support quality and compliance in a fully remote role.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in outpatient coding, proficiency in Epic EMR, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications

• Requires CPC certification plus one of: CPMA, CEMC, or CDEO
• At least 2 years of recent coding experience in outpatient family practice
• Strong expertise in E/M leveling (2021 guidelines)
• Experience in medical coding and auditing for family practice
• Proficient in Epic EMR and Excel reports
• Must be currently certified with AAPC or AHIMA; AAPC certificate number for verification
• Emphasis on candidates with recent family practice and outpatient coding background
• Ability to work independently and accurately in a remote environment

Responsibilities

• Code outpatient family practice visits with E/M accuracy per 2021 guidelines
• Audit coding for compliance and quality improvement
• Generate Excel-based reports for performance and audits
• Work remotely with minimal supervision
