Ideal candidates have 7+ years in medical claims billing, proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google apps, and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset to improve workflows in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in Medical Insurance Claims billing preferred.
• Minimum 7 years plus of experience required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google applications.
• Proactive curiosity and basic AI fluency to identify efficiency gains.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and re-submit clean claims to insurance companies per guidelines.
• Analyze and correct first pass rejected claims for accuracy.
• Follow up on claim status with assigned insurance plans.
• Process claim appeals with complete documentation.
• Suggest account adjustments/write-offs based on collectability.
• Identify and report billing issues to management.
• Generate monthly patient balance statements from EOBs.
• Review delinquent accounts and collect overdue payments.
• Answer patient questions about billing and payments.
• Direct inquiries to the appropriate staff.
