Job summary

LifeStance Health is hiring a Remote Cash Posting Coordinator to support national billing operations. The role focuses on posting payments (ERA/EFT and paper), reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate payer information in a fast-paced, virtual team environment.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in medical billing/RCM, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with HCFA/UB-04, CPT, and ICD-10 codes. Eligible for benefits including health, dental, vision, and a 401(k) with employer match.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in medical billing/RCM.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Excel basics preferred.
• Knowledge of HCFA/UB-04, EOB interpretation and CPT/ ICD-10 codes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate billing practices for payers and services.
• Support daily payment reconciliation using bank tracking spreadsheets.
• Post ERA/EFT payments electronically and by paper/lockbox.
• Analyze remittance advice and 835 files; explain reason codes (EOB).
• Pull remittance advices from websites and download 835 files.
• Communicate with leadership on EDI requirements or observed trends.
