DaMar Staffing seeks a detail-oriented Medical Billing Specialist with strong medical billing, coding, and insurance processes expertise. You will work with ICD‑10, CPT, and HCPCS coding, and utilize EHR/EMR platforms for documentation, coding, and billing workflows.

Responsibilities include claims submission, cost estimation, appeals, and communication with patients and payers to ensure timely reimbursement. A background in HIPAA compliance and payer requirements is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical billing and coding workflows.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding standards.
• Experience with EHR/EMR systems (Epic, Meditech, PrognoCis).
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process and submit medical claims to insurers and third‑party payers.
• Code procedures and diagnoses using ICD‑10, CPT, HCPCS.
• Generate cost estimates based on insurance coverage.
• Review billing data in EHR/EMR systems before submission.
• Handle billing inquiries from patients and payers.
