Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a Medical Billing Customer Service Specialist in Saint Louis Park, MN. This full-time remote role offers DailyPay and a 40-hour work week from 9:30am to 6:00pm CST.

You will be the primary contact for resolving patient billing issues, bridging patients, insurers, and internal teams to explain balances and optimize Revenue Cycle Management while ensuring patient satisfaction. Qualifications

• Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years’ customer service experience.
• Preferred: Medical billing experience.
• Preferred: Bilingual in Spanish or other languages.

Responsibilities

• Assist clinics, referring doctors, attorneys, insurance companies and patients with billing questions.
• Research explanation of benefits (EOBs) and/or denials to assist patients and explain balances.
• Respond to texts, email and mail regarding billing accounts in a timely manner; route to appropriate resources.
• Escalate complex inquiries to Senior Customer Service Specialist.
• Communicate with Revenue Cycle Management departments.
• Meet or exceed team quality assurance standards.
• Email itemized statements and requests to attorneys; obtain proper authorization on file.
• Update billing system with updated patient demographic information.
• Call referring doctors, patients, insurers, and attorneys for updated information.
• Research inaccurate adjustments, duplicate charges, and insurance denials.
