Qualifications

• Able to handle multi-level phone system with a high volume of calls at one time.

Responsibilities

• Answers phones and handles calls in a professional and timely manner.
• Schedules patient examinations according to existing company policy.
• Verifies insurance for same day add-ons and preregistration where applicable.
• Ensures all patient data is entered into information systems completely and accurately.
• Informs patients of financial responsibilities and appointment prep requirements.
• Notifies technologists of scheduling changes to maintain patient satisfaction.
• Maintains an up-to-date database of referring physicians and partners.
• Provides back-up coverage for front office activities as needed.
