Job summary

Physical Rehabilitation Network (PRN) and its Family of Brands is seeking to recruit a Follow Up Representative to handle Payor follow up in a remote setting. The role requires independence, extreme attention to detail, and the ability to manage a full range of AR activities.

Responsibilities include managing primary and secondary claims, responding to inquiries, resolving denials, and ensuring timely payments.

Qualifications

• High School/G.E.D. required.
• 1 year medical receivable collections experience preferred.
• Understanding of medical claims processing.
• Experience with insurance systems.
• Knowledge of insurance rules and regulations related to billing and collections.
• Ability to understand claim denials/rejections.
• Ability to read an Explanation of Benefits.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Manage primary and secondary claims.
• Respond promptly to billing inquiries from patients, insurance companies, and departments.
• Work with clinics to identify and resolve issues regarding outstanding account balances.
• Resolve denials and submit appeals.
• Utilize the most efficient resources to secure timely payment of open claims.
• Research assigned correspondence and takes necessary action to resolve requests.
• Ensure daily accomplishments contribute toward company goals for A/r.
• Resolve accounts in follow-up queues.
