Sunrise Group is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Billing Associate to join our remote Revenue Cycle Management team. You will handle the full billing cycle—from code assignment and claim submission to payment posting, denials, and collections—focusing on clean claims, timely reimbursements, and HIPAA compliance.

Key responsibilities include explaining insurance benefits, collecting patient payments, setting up payment plans, and coordinating with billing/AR teams to resolve issues.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of medical billing and coding experience in healthcare.
• Sleep Medicine and/or DME billing experience preferred.
• Experience in collections including patient balances.
• Customer service experience handling sensitive calls.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and independent issue research.
• Excellent organization with multi-account management.
• Familiarity with billing tech and spreadsheets.
